Class Description
This class is for people with no previous ceramic or art experience, as well as those with some experience. All pieces and techniques can be done with or without art knowledge
or experience.
A variety of techniques and materials are explored including: pinch pots, additive and subtractive sculptures, underglazes, glazes, tools, mixing different clays in one piece, and other techniques. Pieces include both food safe and decorative pieces.
Creating class pieces, as well as building student inspired are inspired by are both celebrated in this class. Individual character and style are encouraged. Bringing your own background, culture and knowledge to the class is encouraged for a richer experience in creating your artworks as well as sharing with others in the class.
There is an opportunity in December to showcase your works in a student showcase and invite family for the gallery show!
