About this Event
This event is sponsored by Texas Sports Academy and is free to attend, but you must RSVP.
Step into the gym at First Rule Boxing Club in Fort Worth for Boxing 101, a structured intro class for students in grades 3 through 12. Coach Malaki and his team will teach the fundamentals: footwork, proper punching technique, defense, combinations, conditioning, and boxing safety.
The first hour focuses on technique. In the second hour, students put it all together and apply what they learned. Along the way, they build discipline, confidence, coordination, focus, and respect.
No previous boxing experience required.
Who can attend: Students in grades 3 through 12, including current Texas Sports Academy students, homeschool families, and families interested in learning more about the Texas Sports Academy community.
What to bring: A water bottle, loose workout clothes, and running or boxing shoes (no Crocs or sandals). Students also need boxing gloves, hand wraps, and a jump rope. If you do not have them, you can buy them at First Rule Boxing Club.
Finding us: The facility is located at the rear of the complex, Suite 127.
RSVP for each participating student so Coach Malaki can plan the class. Accompanying adults do not need a ticket. If you already registered on the Texas Sports Academy community event page, please do not register again here.
