Bowland Walk & Peatland Restoration Visit
Join us for a walk through the stunning Bowland countryside! Discover the beauty of the peatlands and learn all about the restoration efforts happening right here. It’s a great chance to connect with nature, meet like-minded folks, and see firsthand how we’re making a difference. Perfect for outdoor lovers and anyone curious about the environment.
What to bring: Food, water, walking boots or sturdy footwear, waterproofs, and plenty of curiosity.
Please note: A reasonable level of fitness will be required, we will be going up and across the hill & off the path at times. We will be walking at a steady pace with plenty of breaks.
The walk will be led by Peatland Engagement Officer Lois. Lois is outdoor first aid trained.
