In this 3 hour workshop we will be using seasonal plants gathered in Pembrokeshire to create designs by Botanical printing, and Tataki zome or flower pounding. Leaves placed on paper will be heated to release the dyes inside them to make images. These can be used for special greetings cards. You will also experiment by hammering flowers and leaves onto fabric transferring their shapes and colours. Materials will be prepared by mordanting where necessary, and there will be explanations as we go along.
