Learn the fine art of botanical printing onto paper and pounding leaves and flowers onto fabric via the methods of steam bundling and hammering!
In this workshop, we will:
- Learn the basics of preparing paper & fabric to hold plant prints
- Discuss what leaves print best
- Learn about and use dye blankets
- Practice leaf & flower impressions, i.e. "pounding" onto fabric
- Leave with your creations and instructions on how to continue exploring at home!
All materials + snacks + drinks provided
This workshop is for adults and hosted at the Wild Arts Learning Center in Springfield, MO. For locals: just out east Sunshine and around the bend from Turner's Station off J Hwy. The address and directions are emailed upon booking.
