Botanical inks from invasive plants

Join us at Lakeside Community Garden, Saturday, September 19, 10 a.m. to noon, to make beautiful inks from invasive plants (and other proliferating volunteers). We will go through the steps of making an ink as well as test the colours on watercolour paper. (You are welcome to make your own painting as well.) All materials will be supplied. We will have ready-made inks as well as mortar and pestle sets and plants for making fresh inks. If you would like to take an ink home with you, bring a small glass jar.
