The Boston International Symphony Orchestra (BISO), under the baton of Maestro @Jorge Soto, joins world-class vocalists, instrumental soloists, and dancers for an unforgettable evening where the symphony meets the ballroom. The Boston New Year Grand Musical Ball, presented by WeStar Music in collaboration with the Boston International Symphony Orchestra, is a signature event unlike any other in New England — an elegant and grand celebration inspired by the tradition of the Vienna Opera Ball and reimagined with an international flair.
Experience beloved Strauss waltzes alongside musical masterpieces from around the world, performed by the professional Boston International Symphony Orchestra and internationally acclaimed guest artists. From classical and opera to Broadway and popular favorites, the evening celebrates the universal language of music while introducing audiences to extraordinary works and cultures from across the globe.

Presented by WeStar Music, the 2027 Boston New Year Grand Musical Ball is set to make a spectacular debut during the festive New Year season! Renowned conductor Jorge Soto will lead the Boston International Symphony Orchestra in a passionate performance alongside a lineup of world-class vocalists and outstanding instrumentalists, complemented by elegant and captivating dance performances from Boston ballet dancers and professional dance troupes.
In true Viennese spirit — guests will be invited to waltz to the live orchestra, dancing to Strauss’s most beloved melodies.
A little taste of Vienna comes to Worcester— so, bring your grace, your charm, and a hint of Viennese sparkle — this is Worcester’s night to dance.!
The evening begins with a social hour at 6:30 PM, followed by the concert and ballroom celebration at 7:30 PM.

The Boston International Symphony Orchestra is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to: “establishing and maintaining a professional orchestra which will perform music from around the world, premiere and perform works by contemporary composers, offer performance opportunities to young musicians, and promote and encourage community appreciation of and access to music.” By combining cultural diversity with musical excellence, BISO bridges continents and generations through the universal language of music.
