Every child in Elkhart County deserves a strong start. For the past year, people from all over our community have been working to give them one, and on Nov. 10 we want to celebrate that work with you and plan what comes next.Join Building Strong Brains partners and friends for Born to Thrive, our quarterly summit, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, at Goshen College's Church Fellowship Hall.
In the morning, we'll look back at what the coalition has done together, from breaking down barriers to prenatal care to Countdown to Kindergarten and Hunger Ends Here. A panel of partners will share what they've learned along the way.
After lunch, we'll look at the state of child care in Elkhart County. Then we'll split into breakout sessions on child care and on telling the stories that help our community understand why the early years matter so much.
Breakfast and lunch are included. Come hungry and bring your ideas.
If you work with young children and families, whether that's early learning, health care, family support, a community organization, an employer or local leadership, you belong in this room. We get more done when we're working on it together.
