Beneath the gilded facade of Bordeaux lies a city built on the embers of revolution and the whispers of forbidden wealth. This self-guided audio tour pulls back the velvet curtains of the Palais Rohan and the Museum of Fine Arts, then threads the limestone streets past Notre-Dame Church, the Dijeaux and Cailhau gates, Bordeaux Cathedral and the Pey-Berland Tower. Seventeen stops across the old city, roughly two hours at your own pace, with narration playing as you walk. Your phone is the guide, so start whenever you like and pause for a coffee whenever you want.
