History of the Museum: Built in 1874 as a natural history museum by Edward Thomas Booth for his collection of taxidermy of birds that visit/live in the UK. This includes a poor Flamingo that was blown of course and landed in Nottinghamshire???
Also in the building is a Napoleonic French solider skeleton? along with other various animals and insects.
A truly remarkable collection and well worth a visit.
Paranormal activity reported: Very little is known about over night activity as never been done before?
That said a fellow curator from the Natural history museum was working late one evening (Recently) and reported seeing a person on the top floor looking down at him? when nobody else was in the building. Also reported is people have felt like they are being watched by an unknown entity? Who is this person and why are they watching you?
We will have limited access to the top floor where fragile rare insects are housed and this person has made his presence felt...
