This practical training will help you understand how to use evidence to build a strong case for need, measure your impact, and develop compelling funding bids.
Understanding Community Need
Learn how different types of evidence can help you identify and understand the needs of your community. We'll explore how to gather and present evidence effectively, helping you build a credible and persuasive case for support. Using the Evidence Pie, we'll show you how to combine a range of evidence sources to strengthen your funding applications.
Demonstrating Impact and Outcomes.
Discover practical tools and methods for collecting evidence that shows the difference your organisation makes. During the session, you will:
- Learn about evaluation tools and approaches to measuring outcomes and impact.
- Create a simple evaluation form that can be adapted for your organisation.
- Explore case study templates to capture meaningful stories and evidence.
- Understand what validated measures are and when to use them.
- Learn how to analyse and use your data to better understand your organisation's work.
- Turn evidence and insights into a compelling narrative for grant funding and reporting.
The session is interactive and hands-on, and participants are encouraged to bring real examples from their own work to make the learning as relevant and practical as possible. Please note a light lunch will be provided.
