Join Union Hotel and the Giller Prize for a session of #BookTalk, an intimate new literary series celebrating Canadian literature in a fresh, community-focused way.

Continuing the series is Nick Cutter in conversation with Yiming Ma. Set in the cozy, storytelling-rich lobby of the Union Hotel, this live interview invites book lovers into a relaxed evening of meaningful dialogue, exploring Jane's latest work and the power of CanLit today.

Whether you're a lifelong reader or new to the scene, #BookTalk offers a modern take on the classic book club — it's live, local, and literary. Tickets are limited for this exclusive & intimate event!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR, NICK CUTTER:

NICK CUTTER is the author of the critically acclaimed national bestseller The Troop (which is currently being developed for film with producer James Wan), The Deep, Little Heaven, The Queen, and The Handyman Method, cowritten with Andrew F. Sullivan. Nick Cutter is the pseudonym for Craig Davidson, whose much-lauded literary fiction includes Rust and Bone, The Saturday Night Ghost Club, and, most recently, the short story collection Cascade. His story “Medium Tough” was selected by author Jennifer Egan for The Best American Short Stories 2014. He lives in Toronto, Canada.

ABOUT THE MODERATOR, YIMING MA:

YIMING MA, born in Shanghai, spent a decade in the tech and finance world across New York, Toronto, London, Berlin, and South Africa before writing the dystopian novel These Memories Do Not Belong to Us, set in a world where memories are bought and sold.
