About this Event
Come behind the scenes at Book Hero HQ and see what it takes to get thousands of books into the hands of readers around New Zealand!
On this approximately 20-minute guided tour, you’ll step inside our Hobsonville warehouse, home to more than 100,000 books, plus another 25,000 puzzles, games and toys. You’ll see how new stock arrives and is received, how we keep such a huge range organised, and how your Book Hero orders are picked, packed and sent on their way.
There’ll also be time to ask questions and meet some of the Book Hero team along the way.
Tours are free and strictly limited to just 8 people per session.
Please note that light machinery may be operating in the warehouse during your visit, so young children will need to remain under close adult supervision at all times.
If you have any accessibility requirements, we may be able to accommodate these - please let us know in advance so we can do our best to make the tour work for you.
A quick note about parking: Customer parking at Book Hero is limited, particularly on busy days. Tour attendees may be asked to park at an alternative location within easy walking distance of Book Hero. We’ll email everyone booked on a tour before Bookshop Day with full details, including where to meet and parking instructions.
We can’t wait to show you around!
