Writing a book can help with getting your brand better known, engaging with your customers and showcasing your expertise.
About this Event

Why write a book? If you’re a business owner, writing a book can help you with: getting your brand better known, engaging with your customers to turn them into your fans and having something to share on social and traditional media. As a consultant or professional mentor, having a book to your name will help you be seen as an expert and make more clients want to work with you.

In this workshop we’ll go through more detail about why writing a book makes good business sense, cover the main elements to include in a successful book and get you started on your own book. You’ll take away an action plan, lots of useful ideas and contacts to help your book be a success, from formatting ebooks, paperbacks and audiobooks, through to using your book as a promotional tool for your business.

There will be a main presentation and then a lot of hands-on work so that you make the most of your time with us: you will leave inspired and with a strategy in place!

This workshop is for businesses across all sectors, including consultants and mentors. Come along to find out a new way to help your business grow. After the event you will be sent the video, resource-filled slides from our main talk and a free eBook, Melissa Addey's The Storytelling Entrepreneur, which offers a wealth of ideas for telling your business story.

The session is available in person at the British Library or you can join us online by Zoom. AS we are recording the session you can even just book to receive the video afterwards if you can't join us live.
