Books & Bevs is a literary and cultural gathering presented by The Blonde Gazelle, bringing books, history, beverages, collecting, and conversation together in Conyers, Georgia.
This year's gathering features The Blonde Gazelle Archives, a curated collection of historic books documenting Black history, literature, civil rights, political thought, sports, journalism, economics, and culture.
Visitors will encounter books not simply as things to read, but as cultural artifacts that carry stories of their own — including books with institutional provenance, inscriptions, publication histories, and connections to earlier generations of readers.
The collection includes works by and about figures including Richard Wright, James Baldwin, Martin Luther King Jr., Angela Davis, David Walker, J.A. Rogers, Dick Gregory, Wallace Terry, Muhammad Ali, and others.
THE BLONDE GAZELLE ARCHIVES
The Archives will offer guests an opportunity to slow down, browse, and explore books from another era while considering the stories contained within the books themselves.
Some copies have traveled through libraries, schools, institutions, and private collections. Others bear inscriptions, stamps, ownership marks, or other evidence of the people who encountered them before us.
Together, they offer more than reading material.
They offer a record of readers, ideas, communities, and time.
The Blonde Gazelle Archives
The Blonde Gazelle Archives is a curated collection of books and cultural materials documenting Black history, literature, civil rights, political thought, sports, journalism, economics, and everyday life. Spanning generations of writers, thinkers, athletes, activists, and artists, the collection includes historic and vintage books, many carrying inscriptions, library markings, provenance, and other traces of the readers who came before us. At Books & Bevs, selected pieces from the Archives will be shared as books with stories of their own — connecting yesterday's ideas and experiences with today's conversations.

The goal isn't to create a general flea market.
Instead, Collectors' Row is designed as a curated marketplace surrounding the Archives — giving guests an opportunity to discover books, objects, and collections that carry stories of their own.
For DEALERS, COLLECTORS & CURATORS
Are you an antiquarian bookseller, vintage dealer, collector, archivist, or specialist with books, ephemera, historical objects, literary memorabilia, photographs, magazines, or other culturally significant collectibles?
We're currently accepting applications for a limited number of participants in Collectors' Row.
Participation will be curated to complement the literary, historical, and cultural character of Books & Bevs.
