Join us at Grøndalskroen for an informal evening discussing Jem Calder’s I Want You to Be Happy – a contemporary coming-of-age “love” story caught between Gen Z and millennial life. The book pays close attention to the places (and objects) around its protagonist, as well as the pain they carry; with much of it unfolding in pubs and at Christmas, meeting at the Kro feels just right. Come along for a drink and an open conversation, whether or not you’ve been to a book club before.Johanne aka Emotion Lotion is an international psychologist, who will be guiding the conversation. She’s spent many years hosting events, group experiences and book clubs, and hopes to make this a relaxed, welcoming space for everyone to join in. Having read the book is encouraged, but not required.
