About this Event
Finding time to read can be a challenge. Finding time to read when you are also caring for children is next level! At FFB we want to make our meetings as inclusive as possible, if you are a new mother maybe our Tuesday evening events aren’t always that feasible.
Every other month we will be meeting in a family centre for a bookclub gathering to chat about books.
Do you want to meet other parents that you have more in common with than “we both have kids”?
Has your reading taken a nose dive since having children but you miss that side of you?
Are you looking for ways to include children in your social life instead of keeping them separate from your interests?
Faye, long time FFB member, will be your host for the parents meetings. She is a psychologist, reader and new mum who will join you in juggling old and new identities.
On this meeting: we will be discussing Nightbitch - read the book in advance, watch the movie (even if it has a very poor rating), listen to the audiobook, pick up the German translation or only browse the first five pages before falling asleep exhausted - let’s talk about motherhood, parenting in Berlin and which books you plan to read when you finally get the time!
Reserve your spot with the commitment to show up! Spaces are limited to keep the circle intimate.
Only read part of the book, or couldn’t manage to read it at all? Come anyway and share your love for the author with us!
