About this Event

Location - Graham Wallas room, Old Building, London School of Economics

Join us for a conversation with Ani Dasgupta, President and CEO of the World Resources Institute (WRI), as he shares insights from his groundbreaking new book, The New Global Possible: Rebuilding Optimism in the Age of Climate Crisis.

In his book, Dasgupta explores the economic transition that is underway across the world to a clean economy that is good for nature and for people. He proposes that the question is no longer IF the transition will happen, but HOW - who pays, who benefits and who gets left behind?

Drawing on insights from over one hundred global leaders including LSE’s very own Lord Nicholas Stern, Sir Andrew Steer, and Jonathan Pershing, he shares stories of innovative partnerships and collaborative leadership, offering a bold new approach to drive change quickly and at scale.

Don’t miss this opportunity to engage with Ani Dasgupta, deepen your understanding of the relationship between climate change and economic growth, affordability, AI for nature, and the future of emerging economies, while connecting with fellow leaders committed to a prosperous and inclusive future.
