About the authors:

A fan of anything that makes her feel like a badass, Katie McCarthy has trained in Krav Maga, boxing, and gymnastics, has lived in an off-grid, solar- and wind-powered house in the Rocky Mountains, rides horses, trains her three dogs, and travels to warm places to scuba dive. When not chasing down her next thrill, she writes across a wide range of genres, including spicy romantasy, suspense, and quirky adventure. She currently lives in Minnesota with her family.

When not writing romcom/mystery mashups, author Sam Tschida (pronounced cheetah) is probably flipping channels between Dateline and the latest reality dating show. She braves the Minnesota winter with her four resigned children, two snuggly dogs, and one sizzling-hot husband. She doesn’t drink alcohol, never touches caffeine, and is always on time. Just kidding—did you read how many kids she has?
