Join us for the presentation of Journey to an Illusory Kingdom, Ernesto Alcalá’s latest bilingual (Spanish-English) poetry collection, in conversation with Noelia Ramón.
Drawing on surrealism and experimentation, the book explores the tension between the precision of language and the liberating power of imagination. Through rich imagery and metaphor, Alcalá creates a poetic realm shaped by intuition, dreams and the search for deeper meaning.
In this special event, the author will discuss the inspiration behind the collection, the creative process, and the role of poetry as a space for discovery, transcendence and freedom.

Acompáñanos en la presentación de «Viaje a un reino aparente», el nuevo poemario biblingüe (español-ingles) de Ernesto Alcalá, en conversación con Noelia Ramón.
Esta obra propone un viaje simbólico por los límites y posibilidades del lenguaje. A través de una estética influida por el surrealismo y la experimentación, la imaginación y la metáfora se convierten en herramientas para explorar aquellas dimensiones de la experiencia humana que las palabras apenas pueden contener.
Durante la conversación, el autor compartirá el proceso creativo detrás de este libro bilingüe de poesía, así como algunas reflexiones sobre la imaginación, la identidad y el poder transformador de la voz poética.
Al finalizar la presentación se ofrecerá un pequeño refrigerio.
