Join the Centre for Financing a Sustainable Future (CFSF) at Heriot-Watt University for the launch of The Enigma of Climate Inaction: Why Are We Doing Nothing (or Almost Nothing) in the Face of Catastrophe? by Federic Samama.
The event will explore the key arguments of the book and the persistent gap between climate ambition and action, with particular attention to the role of finance, investment and institutions in enabling the transition to a sustainable future.
Federic Samama will present his book, followed by a conversation with Simon Thompson, was previously Managing Director of the Global Capacity Building Coalition (GCBC) and Chief Executive of the Chartered Banker Institute., and an opportunity for audience questions.
The event will conclude with book signing and informal networking over coffee and tea.
