Scenario Management and Strategic Foresight – Book Launch in Geneva
How can organizations navigate uncertainty and prepare for different possible futures? How can scenarios support strategic decisions, organizational change, and new ways of thinking about the future?
Join us in Geneva for the launch of our new book, “Szenario-Management und Strategic Foresight – Methoden, Anwendungen, Best Practices” (Springer Gabler).
Bringing together more than 30 years of experience in scenario management, the book explores current approaches, practical applications, and best practices from organizations across different sectors.
Insights from the book and practical applications
The event will begin with insights from the book's editors, Dr Alexander Fink and Hanna Rammig (ScMI AG), who will introduce key concepts and show how scenarios can help organizations explore different futures and make more robust strategic decisions.
Two contributing authors will then share their perspectives:
- Mille Bojer (Reos Partners): Scenarios and Change – exploring the connections between scenario thinking and processes of change. Her contribution addresses how working with different future perspectives can help people and organizations question assumptions, engage in dialogue, and navigate complex transformation processes.
- Quentin Ladetto (armasuisse): Unlocking Futures – offering perspectives on how futures thinking can open up new ways of exploring possibilities. His contribution highlights how considering alternative futures can challenge established perspectives and create space for new ideas and strategic options.
A special highlight: Updated New Global Scenarios
Alongside the book launch, we will present ScMI's updated New Global Scenarios, offering fresh perspectives on possible global futures and inviting discussion about the developments shaping our world.
