The afternoon will include a reading by Corky Thacker, Q&A, lunch and pastries, book sales, and signing.Family of Choice: Life on Life’s Terms is the second novel in the Family of Choice series, bringing together stories of fully human characters navigating hopes, dreams, relationships, challenges, faith, spirituality, family, and love. The book moves from vintage homes and dramatic West Virginia landscapes to church life, house cats, and the many different ways people create family and find connection.
Corky was inspired by Church of the Ascension when creating the novel’s fictional Grace Church, making Ascension a particularly meaningful place to celebrate the book’s release.
