Book Launch: Nikki Ervice presents Roadshow
In conversation with Anna North
Wine reception to follow
Alaskan author Nikki Ervice launches her sexy and fast-paced, yet deeply felt, debut Roadshow, exploring the power of passion, inheritance, legacy, and class, and the grueling, smiling work of the stage and the hospitality industry. Sweetbitter meets Nomadland, as we follow Annie as she leaves her NYC life of bartending and dancing to drive cross-country to Alaska to meet her dying mother. “Lost but driven, lonely but empathetic, reckless but somehow wise beyond her years, Nikki Ervice’s Annie is a heroine like no other. This road trip will never take you where you expect to go..." praises Anna North (Outlawed and Bog Queen), who joins Ervice for a reading and discussion, before an audience Q&A and signing.
