SAVE THE DATE: 5TH DECEMBER.We are pleased to be able to share further details of our special event on 5th December.
We have had previous enquiries regarding hosting a book launch, and we have never been in a position where we could do so.
However, when the Worcestershire Poet Laurate asks the question, we just had to clear our schedule and make it happen.
We are so proud to confirm that Cosmos in the Closet by Jay Rose Ana will be officially launched on Saturday 5th December at Wollaston Village Hall.
This launch will be made extra special as we will also be launching One Mile To Sane by Rosie Mitchell and the as yet-titled new book by Johnny "Mogs" Morris.
Three book launches in one evening?
Yes! THREE books by three outstanding local poets, in one packed evening in Wollaston.
There will be more details to follow, but we can confirm that there will be readings from the three books, some chat and back-stories, lots of laughs, no doubt some tears, definitely some nibbles, and a hell of a lot of love.
There will also be an open mic slot, however, as we envisage this to be a packed evening, they will be strictly limited to 10 x 3 minute slots only.
We plan to offer them on a strictly first come, first served basis, so if you're coming down, let us know via our events page, and if you'd like one of the open mic slots, please message The People’s Platform directly ASAP.
We can't wait to see you all, at what is promising to be a great evening of entertainment.
