About this Event
A contributor to The Atlantic, author John Hendrickson will join KVML for an intimate live interview about his book, Life on Delay: Making Peace with a Stutter, which is a candid, deeply reported memoir that blends personal narrative with research and interviews. The book expands on his widely read 2019 The Atlantic article about Joe Biden’s stutter and his own, which brought global attention and prompted many readers to share their stories. Life on Delay was named one of the best books of 2023 by The New Yorker, one of the best audiobooks of the year by Audible, and was a USA Today book club selection.
Life on Delay is an indelible account of perseverance, a soulful narrative about not giving up, and a glimpse into the process of making peace with our past and present selves.
