🎷 'Boogie Boy' Paul Ambach & Band — Saturday 14 November, 20:30‘Boogie Boy’ Paul Ambach is a legendary rhythm and blues, pianist, singer and showman renowned over more than four decades for his explosive piano style and powerful “blues shouter” vocals. Deeply inspired by Ray Charles and classic American R&B Paul has shared the stage with legends including B.B. King, Ray Charles, James Brown and John Lee Hooker and performed at North Sea Jazz, Jazz at Juan les Pins, Montreux Jazz Festival, Ronnie Scott’s in London and Ashford & Simpson’s Sugar Bar in New York. Paul has this year toured Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong and Tokyo and recently recorded a new album with Blues legend John Primer. Houseband Midnight Mary opens the concert.
« Boogie Boy » Paul Ambach est un légendaire pianiste, chanteur et showman de rhythm and blues, connu depuis plus de quatre décennies pour son style de piano explosif et sa voix puissante de « blues shouter ». Profondément inspiré par Ray Charles et le R&B américain classique, Paul a partagé la scène avec des légendes comme B.B. King, Ray Charles, James Brown et John Lee Hooker, et s’est produit au North Sea Jazz, Jazz à Juan-les-Pins, au Montreux Jazz Festival, au Ronnie Scott’s à Londres et au Sugar Bar d’Ashford & Simpson à New York.
