Come meet me for a casual walk around Lennox Gardens and surrounds, taking photos of whatever interests you. You'll be in the company of other photographers in a supportive and encouraging environment, and won't have to feel embarrassed at stopping and taking the time to look, experience and (if so inclined) photograph things.Photographers of all experience levels and using any equipment (including phones) are welcome. If you'd just like to come along for an excuse to have a walk and are not interested in photography, that's fine too! This is not a training session, there is no formal structure, and you are free to wander where you like and photograph whatever interests you. I will be available to provide some level of advice and assistance, but it is intended to be an opportunity for you to get out and practice using your camera/phone/eyes.
We will gather on the grass near the carpark at the end of the walk (about 12pm) for an entirely optional social chat and discussion. Please feel free to bring a rug or fold-up chair, some snacks for your personal consumption, and/or a hot or cold drink to enjoy.
For those of you familiar with the Be Curious Photo Walks organised by @CristyFroehlichPhotography, this walk is offered as an unofficial extension of the Be Curious community. It is not limited to that community, however, and anyone is very welcome to join us. I do not work for Cristy and this IS NOT a Be Curious walk!
Cost:
Free but donations welcome if you find it valuable.
About me:
I am Conrad, and Water Sprite is the business name through which I operate. I am a semi-professional landscape and nature photographer. I tend to say that I aspire to professional standard photography, but I don't particularly aspire to make a living off it.
