“ONE OF THE GREATEST MONSTER MOVIES EVER MADE” – New York MagazineThe Host, the legendary monster movie from Bong Joon Ho, the Academy Award-winning director of Parasite and Snowpiercer, returns to the big screen for its 20th anniversary! The film kicks off when a young girl is snatched away from her father by a horrifying giant monster that emerges from the River Han. As her entire family sets out to locate the beast and bring their little girl back home to safety, the monster wreaks terrifying havoc on Seoul. Inspired by Bong’s childhood love of kaiju films like Godzilla and Ultraman, The Host combines state-of-the-art special effects with poignant human drama and Bong’s trademark razor-sharp social commentary that remains relevant two decades later.
The Host is playing twice: On Nov. 21 at 4:14 pm and on Nov. 23 at 7 pm. Be sure to select your preferred showtime at checkout.
