EMERALD & DEVELOPMENT PATHWAYS TEAM TRIALS
The Bond University Bull Sharks Netball Program invites athletes to register their interest and attend trials for our 2027 Emerald and Development Pathways Teams.
Both teams provide athletes with the opportunity to compete in a quality competitive environment while continuing their development within the Bond University Bull Sharks Netball pathway.
EMERALD TEAM
Eligibility: Players born between 2007 and 2011
(16–20 years of age in 2027)
Competition: Brisbane GBNL
Game Day: Sundays
Training: Two sessions per week
The Emerald Team provides athletes with the opportunity to compete in the Brisbane GBNL competition while continuing to develop their skills, game understanding and overall netball performance within the Bull Sharks pathway.
DEVELOPMENT PATHWAYS TEAM
Eligibility: Players turning 15 years of age in 2027
There is no upper age restriction.
Competition: Elite Premier Netball League (EPL)
Game Day: Friday evenings
Training: One session per week
The Development Pathways Team is designed to provide athletes with an opportunity to develop and compete within the Elite Premier Netball League while progressing through the Bond University Bull Sharks pathway.

TRIAL REQUIREMENTS
Athletes must attend the scheduled trial to be eligible for selection.
Requests for an exemption from attending the trial must be submitted in writing and approved prior to the trial date. Trial exemptions will only be considered in exceptional circumstances.
Selection into the 2027 Emerald or Development Pathways Team is subject to the outcome of the trial process.
