Bolton Rugby Business Club

Bolton Rugby Business Club is a bi-monthly networking event bringing local SMEs together at Bolton Rugby Club to build meaningful connections, share referrals and gain practical insights to help their businesses grow.

Delivered in partnership with Sales Geek, a North West-based sales consultancy and training company, and proudly sponsored by Morning Rain Creative, the Business Club goes beyond traditional networking. Each session combines opportunities to connect with like-minded business owners with expert-led discussions, practical business advice and ideas you can take away and put into action.

As we approach the new year, our December session will focus on getting ready for 2027. Thomas Crook from Sales Geek will lead a practical, sales-focused session exploring how businesses can prepare for the year ahead, set clear goals, identify opportunities and get their teams ready to hit the ground running in January.

Whether you're looking to grow your customer base, improve sales performance or take your business to the next level, there will be plenty of ideas to put into practice.

We’re also delighted to welcome Catherine Price, Bolton Place Brand Manager, who will explore how Bolton’s place brand can help local businesses thrive.

With more than 20 years’ experience helping places and businesses thrive, Catherine leads the Bolton Born to Perform place brand and We Are Bolton Ambassador Programme. She’ll share how businesses can use Bolton’s story, strengths and local connections to raise their profile, stand out from the competition and create new opportunities through collaboration.

Alongside the expert sessions, there will be plenty of opportunity to network, share experiences and build relationships with other local businesses in a relaxed and welcoming environment, with further networking over drinks at the bar.
