Date: Thursday, 24 September 2026 – Heritage Day
Time: Competition starts at 09:00
Venue: Padstal Deli, 102 Lloys Ellis Drive, Mnandi AH, Centurion
Entry fee: R200 per contestant
Available places: Only 50
🔥 WHAT YOUR ENTRY INCLUDES
Every contestant receives:

🥖 Two Boerie rolls
🔥 A lit braai ready for action
🏆 Entry into the official competition
You bring the toppings, sauces, seasonings and everything else you need to transform your boerewors roll into a championship-worthy masterpiece.
⏱️ HOW THE COMPETITION WORKS
Contestants will compete in scheduled rounds of up to seven people.
Each round lasts 40 minutes:
🔥 20 minutes to braai, build and present your boerewors roll
🧑⚖️ 20 minutes for judging and preparation of the next round
Four judges will score every entry according to predetermined criteria. Scores from all rounds will be compared to determine our overall champion.
If the leading contestants finish with equal scores, they’ll face one final challenge: a BOEREWORS ROLL BRAAI-OFF! 🔥
🥇 FIRST PLACE
R5,000 worth of Padstal Deli meat of your choosing, the honour of becoming our first-ever Boerewors Roll Master and automatic entry into the 2027 competition to defend your title!
Your meat prize can be selected or ordered immediately after the prize-giving.

Friends and family are welcome to come along, support their favourite contestant and enjoy the Heritage Day atmosphere.
Please remember that this is a family-friendly event. No alcohol, drinking or car bars will be permitted anywhere on the premises.

2️⃣ Purchase your R200 competition entry
3️⃣ Check your confirmation email
4️⃣ Complete the compulsory contestant registration form using your order number
5️⃣ Once your payment and form have been matched, your official entry will be confirmed
Successful payment reserves your place, but the contestant registration form must still be completed.
