A Saturday morning for women to talk honestly about bodies, confidence, aging, sex, visibility and what it means to live in a changing body.About this Event
The body you have vs. the body you were told you should have.
When did having a body become so much effing work?
The weight. The clothes. The cellulite. The aging. The comparison. The constant feeling that we should be doing something to make our bodies better.
And somewhere along the way, a lot of us stopped actually living in our bodies and started managing them instead.
So let's talk about it.
Body Talks is a Saturday morning gathering for women who want to have honest conversations about bodies, confidence, aging, sex, visibility and what it actually feels like to live in a body that is changing.
And yes, there will be mimosas.
What to expect:
🥂 Mimosas
💃 A little movement
💬 Honest conversation
👯♀️ A chance to meet other women
✨ A welcoming space to show up exactly as you are
And what you won't find:
No therapy.
No awkward icebreakers.
No pressure to “fix” yourself.
Think brunch with women who are willing to talk about real sh*t.
We'll start with a conversation about the body we have versus the body we were taught we should have, explore some of the ridiculous expectations women carry around their bodies and get a little more connected to the bodies we're actually living in through simple body movement prompts.
You don't need to be confident.
You don't need to love your body.
You don't need to know anyone else coming.
Where comfy clothes that you can move around in. And a yoga mat (if you have one.)
Limited to 12 women.
Come exactly as you are.
No body transformation required.
