Join me on the 8th October when we continue with our 8 limbs of Ashtanga.5th limb (Pratyahara ), withdrawal of the senses
Often translated as "sense withdrawal," Pratyahara doesn’t mean shutting the world out, It means learning to draw your senses inward.
It’s the practice of becoming the observer of your senses, rather than being a slave to them.
Why practice Pratyahara?
✨ It creates a buffer between you and external stress.
✨ It allows you to hear your inner wisdom.
✨ It prepares the mind for deep meditation.
In our upcoming flow, we will use breath and focused gaze (Drishti) to turn our attention away from the chaos outside and toward the quiet sanctuary within.
Join us for a Body & Soul Yoga class where we slow down to truly inhabit each posture using our breath through gentle mindful movement.
This isn’t about how deep you can bend; it’s about finding stillness in the body so you can listen to the voice of the soul.
We will explore:
✨ Proper alignment and foundation
✨ Breath-synchronized movement (Vinyasa)
✨ The transition from physical effort to inner ease
