We've got another fantastic showcase of Iowa rock put together for you, a night blending grunge, alternative, emo and more!Bobobot (from their website):
Bobobot is a four-piece alternative rock band from Iowa City, led by songwriter Bee. What started as songs written at home turned into a live band: two guitars, bass, drums, and arrangements that leave room for a chorus to land.
The sound is guitar-driven. The electronic edge comes from the pedalboards — synth, octave and modulation pedals running through the guitar rigs rather than a keyboard rack — so the texture shifts song to song without anyone leaving their amp.
Kickstart The Sun:
Kickstart The Sun is an alternative rock band based out of Ames, featuring: Justin K- Lead vocals, Rudy Wylde- Lead guitar, Justin B- Drummer, and Nate - Bass guitar.
Pretty Uncommon:
Pretty Uncommon has been writing and performing original music since 2024. Known for their blistering live shows, the band delivers loud, high-energy performances fueled by powerful improvisation. They have shared the stage with legendary rock band Fuel at Nevada's Pizza Pie Looza and most recently performed atop the Camelot Marquee during RAGBRAI. If you're a fan of live rock music, Pretty Uncommon is ready to deliver a show you won't forget.
