Bobby Bare Jr. is a Nashville-born singer, songwriter, guitarist, and producer. The son of Country Music Hall of Fame member Bobby Bare Sr., his early songwriting was critiqued by Shel Silverstein, helping him develop a lyrical style that balances humor, pain, and anger. Since 2016, Bobby has been a touring guitarist and backing vocalist for Guided by Voices. He is also currently co-writing and producing material with Frank Black of The Pixies for an upcoming album.
