A panel discussion exploring the state of Black maternal health on Chicago’s West Side and the role of healthcare systems, community-based care, and policy in improving outcomes for Black mothers and infants.
This conversation will bring together healthcare providers, community birthworkers, and family advocates to examine accountability, Medicaid policy, and collaborative models of care that support maternal health and family wellbeing. Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn about and connect with resources and services available to families in Garfield Park and across the West Side.
Join us for an engaging and community-centered discussion as we work toward improving maternal health outcomes and strengthening support for Black mothers and families.
