About this Event
This conference aims to provide Biomedical Engineering (BME) students and other guests with a comprehensive understanding of a Biomedical Engineers’ role within the healthcare ecosystem. By attending this event, students will gain valuable insights into the essence of BME through the opportunity to network with established industry professionals, academic professionals, and co-op students. Additionally, students will be exposed to cutting-edge research through panel discussions, sessions, and poster exhibitions. Our primary goals are to address the prevailing culture of uncertainty within TMU's BME community and to foster a sense of clarity and direction among students. This conference will effectively showcase the vibrant university culture at TMU, offering students a realistic portrayal of their future in BME and how it connects with other interdisciplinary fields. By doing so, we aim to inspire and motivate students, instilling confidence in their chosen field and creating a supportive community that encourages growth and exploration.
