"A smash comedy hit in London and New York, this beloved classic from the playwright of Private Lives follows the story of Charles Condomine, a fussy and temperamental novelist who has
remarried and is hoping for a peaceful life. However, things take a surprising turn when an eccentric and enthusiastic medium, Madame Arcati, accidentally summons the spirited ghost of his late first wife, Elvira. Elvira’s playful and mischievous personality quickly disrupts Charles and his current wife, Ruth, leading to
a series of humorous misunderstandings and lively conflicts. As the household becomes more chaotic, unexpected events leave more than one spirit lingering around. Filled with witty dialogue, larger-than-life characters, and plenty of supernatural mischief, this lighthearted comedy explores love, relationships, and the hilarity that ensues when the past refuses to stay in the past."
