7.oktoobril võtab Uues Laines koha klaveri taga sisse Rene Paul, tuues lavale hingestatud vokaali, hoogsa boogie-woogie ja klaverimängu, mis ei jää hetkekski pelgalt saateks.
Rene on Eesti bluusbändide konkursi kahekordne võitja, pälvides esikoha nii Rene Paul Blues Bandiga kui ka Kaisa Ling Thingiga. Ta on esinenud maineka Notoddeni bluusifestivali pealaval Norras ning andnud kontserte New Yorgis, Berliinis ja mitmel pool Euroopas.
Õhtu jooksul kõlab traditsioonilist bluusi ja boogie-woogiet ning ka Rene enda lugusid.

🎹 Blues Concert: Rene Paul
One evening. One piano. A whole lot of blues.
On 7 October, pianist and singer Rene Paul takes over the piano at Uus Laine for an evening of soulful vocals, driving boogie-woogie and piano playing that refuses to stay in the background.
Rene is a two-time winner of the Estonian Blues Challenge, taking first place with both Rene Paul Blues Band and Kaisa Ling Thing. His music has taken him from the main stage of Norway’s renowned Notodden Blues Festival to concerts in New York, Berlin and across Europe.
The evening moves through different shades of blues – from traditional blues and boogie-woogie to Rene’s own songs and personal interpretations. At the heart of it all are a piano, a voice and music that can sneak up on you one moment and have the whole room moving the next.
