Swing Patrol is excited to have special guest instructor Jodi for this workshop in Caloundra – where Jodi is from! Jodi will be teaching “Hound Dog” – a smooth, sultry solo blues routine choreographed by Dexter Santos, danced to the smoking hot tune by Big Mama Thornton.No experience required – open to all!
Working on solo dance (jazz or blues) is a wonderful way to explore the connection between the music and the steps, to develop your quality of movement, expand your dance vocabulary and add variety of expression to your partner dancing.
There may even be an opportunity to perform the routine together, for those who are keen.
