Opening Night: Blueprints of a Dream
Blueprints of a Dream brings together Montreal-based artists Ola Volo and Michelle Hoogveld, whose practices move between intimate paintings and monumental public work.
Ola creates richly layered worlds shaped by folklore, pattern and storytelling. Her practice spans original paintings, large-scale murals and commissions for Louis Vuitton, Lululemon and Starbucks.
Michelle, who was born and raised in Calgary, creates luminous geometric paintings built through colour, rhythm and the arch. Her public work includes a sixteen-storey mural in Montreal and commissioned sculptures for Brookfield Place in New York.
Together, their distinct visual languages come into conversation in Blueprints of a Dream.

Join us for cocktails, music by DJ Jon Delerious, and a brief conversation with Ola and Michelle. They’ll share stories from their creative journeys and the large-scale public projects that have taken their work around the world.
