In 2026, the highly-esteemed bluegrass band Blue Highway celebrates 32 years of touring, with four of the original members still intact. The group has released two recent singles, “Is Now the Time?” (Written by Wayne Taylor and Beth Snapp)--the #1 song on the Bluegrass Today National Radio Survey on Dec. 5, 2025--and “Muddy Shoes” (Written by Shawn Lane and Gerald Ellenburg). In 2026, they celebrated with the release of a 30-year Retrospective recording, Live at ETSU!Its single “Lonesome State of Mind” was named the MOST-PLAYED SONG IN BLUEGRASS MUSIC of 2023 by Bluegrass Today.
The band has earned a collective 32 IBMA Awards, 6 SPBGMA Awards, one Dove Award, plus three Grammy nominations. Most recently, the band was nominated for IBMA's 2025, 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021 and 2020 Vocal Group of the Year as well as Song of the Year Awards
Blue Highway's #1 album Original Traditional was nominated for a 2017 GRAMMY Award for Best Bluegrass Album.
The Ramblin’ Bluegrass Ensemble is a super-group of roots-based musicians pulled from active Ohio bluegrass bands. United by a shared love for Appalachian heritage, harmony singing and innovative improvisational acoustic instrumentation, they each share their unique talents to perform a mix of traditional bluegrass covers with a touch of Western swing and original compositions.
