Blue Christmas' Worship - Wednesday, December 16th, 6pm.“Don’t be ashamed to weep; ‘tis right to grieve...A wounded heart will heal in time, and when it does, the memory and love...is sealed inside to comfort us,” author Brian Jacques once wrote.
Blue Christmas is a service of longing and hope, designed for anyone who may not feel like celebrating this season. During the holidays, grief, illness, aging, depression, loneliness, unemployment, and loss can be magnified.
The Blue Christmas worship service acknowledges this pain, while offering hope and comfort for the broken-hearted. In the gathering darkness of December, anticipate Jesus, the light of the world.
