Why do crabs bloom? 🌸🦀Hello my beautiful blooming people!
That’s exactly what you’ll find out when you come to my artist talk at the Newark Public Library.
BLOOMING CRABS: WHEN ART SPEAKS FIRST
Artist Talk with Sasha Keys
I’ll take you inside the world of my Blooming Crabs — where the flowers come from, why they grow from the crabs’ eyes, and what these strange creatures have to do with emotions, vulnerability, and our very human need to feel.
You’ll hear the stories behind the paintings, how this world was born, and why Blooming Crabs became much more than just a series of artworks for me.
Keep blooming! 🌸🦀
