Inspired by an original gift piece, students will create a whimsical butterfly nestled among echinacea and soft summer wildflowers in a dreamy, expressive garden setting.
Using a mix of pencil, acrylic, watercolor, black ink, and palette knives, you'll learn step-by-step techniques to combine washes, bold linework, splatter, and rich impasto texture. While guided through each stage, this workshop prioritizes creative freedom—feel free to customize your colors, flower placement, and design details to make a piece uniquely yours.
· Bonus: Time permitting, students can start a second freelance piece to practice new techniques and explore alternative color palettes.
· Skill Level: Beginner-friendly; no prior experience required. Advanced artists can focus on deeper layering and mixed-media techniques.
