This Halloween, the Boomtown Film Society is partnering with LifeShare Blood Center and For the Record to host a combination blood drive / drive-in movie that we're calling the Blood Drive-In! Local vendors will be selling goods/services during the film and there will be a food truck. Blood donations will be accepted by LifeShare during the event, and For the Record's music store will be open. We'll be screening the 1987 cult classic horror adventure movie "The Monster Squad", often called The Goonies with monsters.
This FREE community event will take place in the parking lot of For the Record (999 Calder Ave. Beaumont, TX). The film will begin at 7pm. Sound will be on a loud speaker AND broadcast over the radio so you can choose to either sit outside in a chair that you bring or to watch from inside your car and listen over the radio. Lot spaces with the best view are limited, so arrive early to get a good one.
