Sydney hip-hop legends Bliss n Eso bring 25 years of party-rockin’ energy to Twilight at Taronga for an explosive celebration of Australian hip-hop. With nine studio albums including four ARIA #1s, nine ARIA nominations, two ARIA Awards, and over half a billion streams, Bliss n Eso’s legacy is undeniable.
The trio of Jonathan “Bliss” Notley, Max “Eso” MacKinnon, and DJ Izm have been pillars of Australian hip-hop since their humble Sydney beginnings, building a devoted fanbase through sample-heavy golden-era hip-hop, energized party vibes, razor-sharp lyrics, and infectious live shows.
Bliss n Eso rocketed to fame with their 2008 platinum album ‘Flying Colours’ (ARIA Winner for Best Urban Release), spawning hits like “Eye of the Storm” and “Woodstock 2008” and establishing their signature sound of socially conscious, roof-raising hip-hop with live instrumentation. They followed with consecutive #1 platinum albums ‘Running on Air’ (2010) and ‘Circus in the Sky’ (2013), featuring festival anthems “Down by the River” and “Act Your Age”. In 2025, they joined an elite group of Australian artists by scoring two #1 albums in one year with ‘The Moon (The Light Side)’ and ‘The Moon (The Dark Side)’.
