Blessing of the Animals at St. Bonaventure!WHEN: Friday, October 2 after the 5:30 Mass and
Sunday October 4 after the 11:30 Mass
WHERE: outside the front of the church in the grassy area near the flower basket pergola to bless your LIVE pets in celebration of St. Francis of Assisi's feast day! (Sorry, stuffies don't count)
PLEASE: keep your beloved pets outdoors on a leash or in a carrier through the blessing for everyone's safety.
ALL: participants will be given a blessed medal of St. Francis, the Patron Saint of pets and animals, to take home and wear on their collars!
This outdoor event is rain or shine!
All varieties of animals welcome!
