BLC's Annual Blessing of the Animals!Woof, Woof, Hooray! Meow!
Your animals are welcomed in Worship (9:30am) as long as they are friendly, well behaved, and leashed or confined (and you make sure that you clean up after them!) … if your furry friends don’t make friends that easily, that’s ok too, you can bring them just to the Animal Blessing which be held directly following Fellowship Hour at 11:15am in the courtyard.
"We invite you to think about a beloved pet while reading this blessing: Holy God, we thank you for the gift of pets in our lives. Through these animal companions you have brought many blessings. Today we pause to name our gratitude, and to pray a blessing on them. For the companionship of our pets we say thanks. Bless this animal’s life in our care; may they know love through all their days. Amen."
